1、 What is power cable joint

3、 Fusion mode intermediate joint

Adopting technology: The intermediate joint of the cable is made by fusion welding technology, which has the characteristics of low resistance and high connection strength. Structural features: The cable joints are fully restored to the original cable body structure, and the conductors, inner semiconductor layer, main insulation, and outer semiconducting layer at the joints are fully restored to their original structure, so that the cable joints are equivalent to the complete cable structure; The fusion of cables without active interfaces can eliminate the interface and avoid electrical hazards caused by air gaps between cable insulation and joint insulation; A concentric cylindrical structure with the same material as each layer of the cable and the same structure as the cable body, resulting in a more uniform electric field distribution.

The fusion mode eliminates the need for specialized crimping tools for intermediate joints, eliminating the hidden dangers of loose conductor connections and high contact resistance caused by mismatched crimping molds; The contact of the conductor adopts exothermic welding technology, which has the characteristics of equal diameter, low resistance, and high strength conductor connection, and can meet the requirements of withstanding instantaneous fault current impact.

In addition, the intermediate joint of the fusion mode can restore the original structure of the cable body, and the cable fusion body without active interfaces can eliminate interface effects. The layers of the connector body and the cable body are fused together to form a cohesive whole, eliminating the interface and naturally possessing internal waterproof properties.

Finally, our expert engineers remind everyone to regularly conduct line safety inspections for cables and cable joint & cable termination kit. Professional personnel should be invited to conduct a comprehensive and thorough inspection of wires & cables, and its joint & termiantion. at least once a year, especially for circuits with long service life at power cable joints.
